In high school, its definitely hard to decide what you want to do with you r life. I mean we are only 18 and haven't even experienced my
adult life yet, and I have to decide what I want to do for a living? Luckily I was one of the lucky ones. I've decided that I want to go into
computer science.
Computer science is the next big thing among college of graduates, soon it will be as common as getting a business degree. This is due
to the fact that almost every citizen in America is starting to own their own technological device . Because of this, There are many job positions
available. However, this isnt the reason I want to do it. I ant the ability to do what ever I want with a computer and be able to build or destroy systems.
This stems from the annoying moment I have when I'm working with a computer and I'm baffled at what to do. Basically I want to become fluent
in a languagenthat is always "spoken" around me that I'm not familiar with. So this fall I will be attending San Jose to major in computer science.
I was accepted into many good schools, but San Jose was the best choice for computer science Not only do they have a renound program, but
they are right in the heart of Silicon Valley. Unfortunately,he program is impacted due to such an ideal situation. I will be competing with all students
in a large classroom. For this I'm going to rely on peer support. If these students are some of the best so why nor use that to my advantage. So I will
do this program for four years, hopefully part of that will be an internship somewhere. I don't want to go down the usual computer programmer path like google, yahoo, or amazon. I want to get an internship in security. The reason computer security interests me is because I would basically be a hacker. I would set up and destroy computer programs in order to improve the system.
Hopefully that internship would land me a job. My ideal job would either be working for the government by being a hacker or a freelancer that will come and improve a company's security system. Its really the idea of being a legal hacker that interests me, and its what I want to do as a career. So hopefully In 20 years I'll be a successful hacker with a good paycheck.
